Water based paints are at least 30% pigment and contain special, high quality thickeners.
Generally, price is a good measure of quality, since high quality paints contain higher amounts of
superior ingredients.
Exterior paints are usually more expensive than interior paint because they use more durable,
more costly pigments and resins.
Water based paints are now the preferred paint for the exteriors because they dry faster and are less likely to crack and peel, Water based paints also emit little or no offensive fumes, and are much easier to clean up.
